Are there any race tracks on the calender that dont recieve government help with financing the race? Also are there any events that turn a profit?

even if the event itself doesn't break even the 'f1 gp circuit' tag is worth a fair wack, as are testing fees and the like.

and anyway all you get in the press is sabre rattling in an attempt to favour one party or the other

take Tony George and Bernie both releasing statements that claimed they both wanted a US gp, clearly neither wanted it enough to cave to the others demands.
