no its not - well maybe its a bit more ok PH (post hamilton - after all the media think he is the second coming) , but in the uk - no F1 fans are seen as trainspotter types, football, rugby, cricket fine, but show proper knowledge of F1 and you are seen as sad...
but once you realise that you are a sad F1 anorak you also realise that aint a bad thing - probably means you have a good job and you are quite intelligent. I work on a magazine with engineering in the title that means by default I'm a nerd/geek but so what I'm happy.
I have to agree ss_collins! However when you tell them you're a racing driver I'm sure they'll all be dancing round you're feet, waiting to get to another VIP team party!
