Ferrari Novitec

Post

The guys at Novitec Rosso have created the Ferrari Tu Nero, a car looking like it was spawned from hell. It’s demonic black paint scheme creates a look that would have me shaking if I saw it coming up behind me on the highway.

The car doesnt disapoint when you look past the evil exterior. Look into the engine bay, and you’ll find twin race-grade superchargers with modified turbine blades and individual oil coolers, an enlarged induction tract with heat insulation as well as new water-cooled intercoolers. Other upgrades Nivitec included is a massive water pump, new high-flow air filters, larger fuel injectors and a new air-duct below the chassis. All this was then taken to engineers who reprogrammed the engine’s ECU for stellar results.

What they ended up with is a 707HP monster at a blistering 8,350rpm. After Novitec fiddled with the gearbox, The Tu Nero is said to reach a top speed of 348 km/h or 216 mph. Pulling naught to sixty two in a wicked 3.5 seconds. This is definitely one evil machine.

/what do you'll think about this one?
Racing cars are neither beautiful nor ugly, they are beautiful only when you win races.

Never been a fan of tuning supercars but the first picture is cool.

Is this about the Novitec tuned 599 or F430? Because you show a picture of both, but you mostly state information about the 599(?).

The orientation of this thread is not quite clear for me "Schumi we miss you". Is it about both or mainly one? And besides, there is no black paint-schemed car anywhere in your post, maybe it was referring to the Novitec tuned 612 Scaglietti? :?

Like if Ferraris were not flashy enough, a "tuned" Ferrari makes a new statement in bad taste, in my opinion  ...

Can you get red window glass for a little extra?

I'll never understand the idea of tunning cars that are already Ferrari. C'mon go and tune some old VW Corrado or Golf or something. Those need some tunning.
