Mclaren's future?

Post

Now as the season has ended and has created a mess for Mclaren, even the two time world champion has also departed from the team, the team has lost a great driver, paid up a huge fine, lost sponsors as Fernando left, lost their old engineers, the team even lost another chance to earn money by supplying Prodrive with customer chassis, not only that Renault wasn't penalised and there might be a possiblity that Renault "might" sue the team. Upto Hungary no one had even thought that Mclaren would lose the both the titles (Sorry Macca fans, but that's the truth).

So now what is ahead for Mclaren? we all don't know? Again a bad year with a worse car? Or a better car?

would Heikki be treated well, or as an underdog to Lewis? Is Heikki's move correct one? should Ron be trusted? specially after what he did this year?
Racing cars are neither beautiful nor ugly, they are beautiful only when you win races.

I suspect Your very own signature is what will keep them as forerunners for at least a few years to come... :D

I would also speculate that even with the losses, The Mclaren Group should be able to 'Enron' them for another few years if necessary to keep them within the top 5 teams.

Mclaren's future?

Post

McLaren: Strong and deep technical staff. Superb physical resources. Very good drivers. Good sponsorship/partnership network. Backing from Mercedes. An outstanding car to build on. Excellent organization and a rigorous, business-like attitude. Plenty of cash. Wounded, but not mortally.

They'll do very well. (and I'm a Ferrari fan)
