Internet works in mysterious ways

Post

Yesterday mx_tifosi asked about teammates who competed 104 times for same team. I wanted to check if Schuey and Barichello is too obvious answer and therefore I checked Berger's and Alesi's bio.

In Wikipedia article about Berger I found that story about practical jokes Berger and Senna played on each other and posted it as new topic.

Than it occurred to me how those two were somehow bonded by accidents in Tamburello they both had. I decided to mention that and add youtube videos as illustration.

On video about Berger's crash Murray Walker and James Hunt mentioned how Piquet had similar accident two years before Berger.

That made me look for video of Piquet's accident and for some photos. I didn't find any photo but as I was searching I came across pic of Life F190 car which had amazingly similar airbox inlets as the ones I suggested in my latest idea.

So, if it wasn't for mx_tifosi's trivia question I'd never find picture of that Life F190 car.

Amazing, isn't it? :)

6 degrees of seperation?

I've been going through my music play list to remove songs that are not socially acceptable (offensive stuff and general rubbish, its saved me so much memory) and a few bands I've had to look up. Then my friend sent me a song by a fantastic group called Flaming Lips. I descided to research them and found a long tediouse link to several of my other favorites which are not commonly known, through Tom Waits, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (Kylie), Leonard Cohen (and everyone who covered hallelujah) right through to Screaming Jay Hawkins, Nina Simone, Robbie Williams and Muse.
I was quite astounded to realise that about 20% of my 700 song playlist are related by one band covering their song and someone covering another of theres, duets etc.

This world is smaller than we perhaps realised.

And how I happened to ask that question was because waynes asked another question, which was answered by manchild.

But manchild never asked another question and left the thread for dead ( ), and since I liked the direction of that specific thread, I decided to contribute, which then led to manchild's story that begins this thread.

End Note: While researching the question I asked in the above mentioned thread, I was also led onto a bunch of interesting (f1 related) findings, but I can't remember any of them anymore. #-o

And you're right Tom, this world is smaller than we realize (especially on the net where the whole globe is inter-connected).
