So you want to own an F1 car?

Post

Some of you may have already seen this article I recently wrote for F1Technical:
http://www.f1technical.net/features/8784

I had basically spent quite some time looking into F1 Memorabilia for myself, and thought I would compile all the information for others. Now you know, this sort of stuff is out there and readily available.

Some thoughts and feedback would be nice, I hope you all enjoy it!

Cheers,
Tom Castellani

Thanks Tom, you gave me a reason for robbing a bank (to buy one of those cars) and maybe then selling one of my kidneys (to keep up with maintenance) #-o

With only US$ 850,000 you can buy the 1994 Benetton wich Schoemaker used to hit Hill in Adelaida and win his first "non counting" championship

haha, I agree with you on the '94 championship.

Personally I just want a nosecone complete with front wing to put on my wall. Most people also hang them so that the bottom is against the wall, whereas I'd want it sticking out the way it should be. Although after doing measurements (My room is quite small) I realised it would come around half way across the room! It's all for another time anyway, I can't afford anything right now let alone that. Saving for a course starting January 2009 :(... Plus I'm only 17! One day I will definitely get one though, when I'm all settled into my own place and have a steady income.

It must be said though after I showed the article to a friend in Canada, he's actually considering getting an open wheeler as a track car. Maybe everyone here is just skint :D.
