It is some what common but pretty much a waste of time
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4802289/tm.htm

there are also old Detroit diesels that were both super charged and turbo charged at the same time

the turbo banshees is pretty common in drag racing and hill shooting

the problem being there is nothing to build boost against in a 2 stroke motor you push a lot of fuel into the pipe before the piston closes the ports

post what you find Glad to meet a fellow 2 stroke junkie

Maybe after the 9th crash, you would have made backups?

You're post, aside from reminding me to do some data backup, reminded me I've never seen or heard of a 2-stroke turbo until today.

Time for some reading, as I have a 2 stroke 80cc on my bicycle, and going 55km/h on flat ground in a bike without pedalling isnt fast enough for me :)

I bet we could double the power if we add a pipe some port work cut the head down.

It will need to burn race fuel but it will smell good.

Gordon Jennings - Two stroke Tuners Handbook. Covers everything, including porting and expansion chambers. You can buy a copy on Amazon for $100>$200 USD, interestingly it originally cost $5USD, it's currently out of print and definitely a collector's item. If you don't mind reading from a screen you can download a PDF. It is one of the finest books I've read on 2 strokes. Many regard this as a masterwork, literally the 2 stroke bible.

Here is an expansion chamber design freeware program derived from Dr. GP Blair's research:
