Your ideal F1 race calendar and policy

Post

This may sound like a silly thing to do but I seriously think that the FIA should impose more restrictions on the teams and FOM in terms of where to hold races, how many and what limits there should be in terms of bankrupting promoters and squeezing tax payers money out of races.

Wasting money on travelling to 20 or 30 tests and having a full test day each race seems dumb #-o considering that for the same money and resource expenditure one could do almost twice the number of races. so without more work for the drivers and teams fans one could do a longer season and satisfy more fans. ticket prices could come down if there are more race venues. more racing is better than more money in FOM's pockets. NASCAR can do it, why should F1 not do it? many drivers would not object, they hate the testing and excessive sponsor duties instead of spending their working days racing.

You have up to 5 votes for the poll. One for the number of races and up to four for the other options which you can approve or not.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
