Getting small race team internship

Hi, hello all, I am new on the board. I find this board really informative and active! Nice to meet you all!

To start of, I am an engineering student in France, and I would like to know if anyone can share any experience on getting a small internship with a small or big internship with a race team.

Well... find one and talk to them. Might have luck with a smaller team (F3, FR2.0?).

If anything you might be able to get a spot doing data or wiring harness work. Do you have some experience with Motec or Pi.. or maintaining looms?
