Need Help...

Hello to everyone.
I am new to this forum and submitted my membership in hope that someone could help me with a "request".I am preparing my diploma project and I am in need of some additional technical info about a certain engine.My project is about simulation of a specific engine (any engine I want).As far my professor told me what to find...but from my point of view it is quite hard.He told that the info I want can find in any repair manual.I searched many manuals and I found most basic characteristics:power,rpm,torque,borexstroke,valve lift diagram...The soft used is AVL.And in order to fulfill the simulation reasonable I must find a lot of things:volume of the intake manifold,intake pipes Length x Diameter,exhaust pipes length x Diameter,injectors cc,number of the holes in the pintle head...etc.
I must find an engine with more data.I was aiming for a turbochraged engine,but in any case an NA is still an option.
Is it possible what I want...The data I require?

Have you considered going to a scrap dealer and buying an old lawn mover engine or similar?




I assume your project does not have to be on a high performance multi cylinder engine?

I am not aiming from the first jump to something with high performance...I think it is naive.I was aiming for a 4 cylinder - 4 stroke - 1600cm3 - multi-injection.
