UK losing F1 innovation race

Post

The other day I came across this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8040312.stm

The title of which is "UK F1: 'Losing innovation race'". The article talks about how the FIA is constricting the ability of the F1 engineers to create new, useful and exciting tools etc.

I was wondering what peoples opinions on this were, whether they agree or disagree with the article. I certainly found it an interesting read.

If, like myself you live in motor sport valley then you will realise that there is more to both motor sport and thus life than F1. I don't think this is really a problem.
