Kimi to McLaren for 2010

What do we think to the possibilty of Kimi returning home, to McLaren...? This could leave Hekki with a drive at Renault, Rosberg remaining at Williams and Alonso to Ferrari?

I don't think so. On the other hand, why not? But he has a contract with Ferrari. So, he'll stay there, imo.

I think he has a big money contract with Toyota for some reason. It sounds crazy but i will keep it in mind.
I want to see Alonso at ferrari!

Mclaren needs Rosberg. He can reunite with his old team mate. Kimi would be a step back for the team, he is old news.

It may have been a Freudian slip, but the BBC quoted team boss Martin Whitmarsh as saying at Valencia last weekend: "Kimi's really raised his game and all weekend has done a great job and Heikki has always been a fantastic team player and a good asset in our team but his race pace hasn't been good enough."

Lewis Hamilton was asked on Friday about the prospect of having a new team-mate, but deflected the question in the direction of his bosses before remarking that he's "happy with Heikki".

I think ever since Kimi joined Ferrari he lost his "spark". The spark and hunger he hed at McLaren, and I personally think he would push Lewis to the max.

McLaren want a team member that will push Lewis to further limits, and I think Kimi is the only man who can do this. Rosberg is also front runner but McLaren have a habbit of shocking the driver market when it comes to announcements. I.e. No body even seen the Hekki move coming!

Rosberg and Hamilton are going to drive for McLaren next year that is nearly confirmed.
It is just a matter of money and this shouldn't be a big issue.

I just hope Ferrari keeps Kimi and sacks Massa.
Kimi and Alonso in one team could be really entertaining,
just like Hamilton and Alonso 2007.

Apart from all the Whitmarsh talking of lately, Kimi could be the only top driver around that wouldn't bother sharing a team with Hamilton. He doesn't seem to be bothered by anything anyway. Still doubtful though.

Based on what?

Ross Brawn is entrenched now, and if history has anything to say about it, he will guide the team to building a better car next year. The aero fundamentals stay the same, so they can use what they have learned.

They have also secured funding until 2012.

Sounds like a team in a great position to produce another race winning car, especially with one of the strongest engines on the grid.

Jean-Louis Moncet, the only french TV presenter that knows something about F1 just gave his " scoop infos " and said that Rosberg was going to McLaren for next year meanwhile Kova was going the other way.

Brawn and RedBull are keeping their current drivers. So Alonso has the key now, if he decides to join Ferrari, it will be a big mess. But JLM also said he was going for 2011.

Kimi will take his $12mil payout and run back to McLaren me thinks.
