About manufacturing of A arms

A -arms manufacturing - it depends really on your ability-recources.If you have no access to a fully equipped machineshop /welding (preferably WIG) then maybe a CNC machined A-Arm from aluminium is the best option -as you will get away without having to build a jig ,and do not have to work with too many subcontractors...but obviously with lietrally no info this is really not answerable.

for anyone that has spent 5' on the FSAE Forum it does. It's the typical newcomer that needs some info to start building whatever and expects everything to be found on the internet - be it Google or any forum

As far as the proceedure is concerned, just weld some tubes with some threaded inserts for rodends and make a decent jig with 3 bolts on a table. Probably the easiest and cheapest way to do it.

He was refering to a special type of question that keeps poping up prefered from a special area of out planet. It's similar to the new F1 in school topics we get here every month.

If you want to sqeeze out any information of this forum its important to aks the right way. Literally you must "come clean". You should tell who you are, what you aim for and what you already did to achieve your aims. Then you can ask a specific question about your problems. Best is always to get some people with a difference of opinion. They will fight the problem out and you just need to watch carefully.

This time I have to disagree marcush.
I think it’s (always) easier and cheaper to weld a-arms. The jig is very easy to build because you just take a steel plate and drill 3 holes into it. Then you take 2 tubes and some more steel plates to connect them and weld everything together. If you have a CNC mill you will also get a welding gear because the mill maybe costs around 200.000 € whereas you can get a welding gear for 200 €.
