What makes you think so? Same selection as last year, with one stoppers.
From what I can see it is really hard to get 20 laps out of the C3, so that alone is kind of forcing two stops.

13, 20, 20 is going to be tricky to do.
11, 14, 14, 14 is much easier to do but maybe too much time lost in the pits.

Also, look forward to grey skies all weekend.
What do you use to make these calculations? I see them posted regularly but no idea how much credence I should give them.
I usually get it right, and that's for me to know, trade secret n all.

That's true, godlamerso's predictions usually do OK, with the exception of the 2mm debacle!

That’s how the team engineers conduct their simulations, too, amirite?

If one particular team has a seemingly large advantage, will we see them try to extend stint 1 by completing Q2 on the C3 compound?
IF Red Bull decide to take an engine penalty for MV, that could play-out nicely for Mercedes? C3-C3-C4 (18-20-15) & fastest lap?

I usually get it right, and that's for me to know, trade secret n all.
Do you use some simulation software? rFactor Pro? Is it historical data of the compound vs other races that it has been used at?

You don't have to say exactly how it's done, but at least give me an idea.

Otherwise I could also claim the same and then just say that "I usually get it right".

Edit: After a quick search through you tyre related posts, it seems you were wrong about Zandvoort, Silverstone & Austria, so please forgive me if I ask for some evidence to back up your claims. At that point I stopped looking through the race threads but I'm sure I could find more examples like that.

Better warn Pirelli to change the number of sets in their tire allocation then, they only get two sets of hards.

Alpine expects return to normal F1 form at Sochi.

Budkowski said the team knew in advance that Monza will be a struggle for the A521.

"Sochi will be better, not quite perfect for us, but better," he told Motorsport.com. "I think we should be back to our level of competitiveness that we've had so far, which means qualifying in the top 10, and racing for slightly bigger points.

"I think given our starting positions to be honest both cars in the points is a decent result. Monza is a circuit where we knew we'd suffer, as our package is not the most adapted to these kind of circuits.

"Honestly, coming out of here with five points in the bag, with AlphaTauri not scoring, actually it's a pretty decent weekend.

Rainfall totals for Wed-Fri look very high, Sat-Sun looks dry so far but it’s a few days away.
