It’s annoying even for a mostly impartial fan of the sport (go Mclaren!).
Like get over it.

Like, whenever you take these approaches at work or wherever, you need to ask yourself “what’s the end game?”. He’s only hurting his own broadcast future.zibby43 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 22:52He’s becoming a caricature of himself lol.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 22:51It’s annoying even for a mostly impartial fan of the sport (go Mclaren!).

Again, NASCAR has done it since the 1990s, it’s commonplace in MotoGP, it’s not impossible to do. Even your weeknight dirt / circle track racers play with this.
I know, but the way the Mercedes squating down is odd at leastHoffman900 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:01

hamilton's 1.34.8 was deleted for track limitsInsaneX_Badger wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:03With the results in FP1, why has Perez become top in FP2? Haven't been able to watch the sessions.
It's normal behaviour. Even Horner doesn't say anything worth protesting. If anything about it, is that it is not progressive but rather sudden when it activates.
I don't believe suspension collapse like this is simply down to aero load. It's too sudden and instantaneous. Horner mentioned mercedes using a device of some sort to lower the car in FP1 by himself without being questioned about it, so there must be something going on. He then went on further in that he hopes they cant use it as much on this track as in turkey.dans79 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 20:40Yea, the diresta video is just fluff to stir up the fans who don't know any better. The rear squatting down and stalling the diffuser isn't something new. For them to magically be faster than redbull down the straits by 12-15 kph, they would need to be stalling more than the diffuser.
It's really hot on track!InsaneX_Badger wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:03With the results in FP1, why has Perez become top in FP2? Haven't been able to watch the sessions.
