I don’t disagree, it overpriced but most F1 fans will buy it anyway, and that is what they are counting on.
I'd like to see those stats. Number fans per merch sold.

The fact that price continue to increase seems to show that the teams are happy with the revenue that Merchandise is bringing them… Ultimately, the amount of fans that will be a shirt isn’t probably huge to begin with and those interested in it will pay.

Nowadays, people pay a lot for things they want and little for things they need.
But it's everyone's choice.

That is something I could believe.

A high price makes the brand appear to have high value and it hits whatever goal they have set. They might not be trying to make a ton of money, just cover their own use cost.

Any chatter about the Mercedes engine for 2022- any architectural and/or performance steps expected or rumoured?

Zak did mention that there were optimistic about the reliability niggles Mercedes suffered being ironed out. The new fuel composition is a big talking point now though.

Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

The only one that is bullish about their chances is Ferrari. They have been hyped about pretty much every aspect of their 2022 car, including the power unit. We just have to wait and see how much will they deliver on that hype.

Other manufacturers have been mostly quiet, apart from Alpine, which is somewhat optimistic as well because they have been working on a PU redesign for quite some time now.

I can imagine how the teams carried rush orders for lego technic blocks, to try and recreate the model and learn about its secrets  :) :)

What were they thinking
