I feel like we have seen two fairly extreme yet divergent approaches to the engine cover/sidepods. Interesting to see which (if either) is more prevalent and, more importantly, which one is faster at the end of the day.
Haas seems to be much more rooted in the ideas of 2017-21 given the aggressively tapered sidepods and the inboard-loaded front wing, whereas the Aston is more different. The similarities to the 2018 Williams and 1992 Ferrari don't necessarily bode well for Aston, as both of those were pretty shocking, albeit for different reasons
