Where can I find information regarding the time difference between C1,C2,C3,C4 and C5?
nothing official, Mario Isola's various interviews this week have alluded to that their is a greater variance this year and said that difference between c2 and c3 this year is 1 second whereas last year it was 0.5 seconds.

According to Lando.

Mercedes, Ferrari and RedBull are ahead. He thinks Haas are very fast and he is also not confident McLaren is leading the following pack.

I’d sooner believe Marko’s pecking order than Lando’s, to be honest.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Autosport has Lando 1.33.1 with C2. The difference from the top was 1.4 and had brake problems. Considering the large difference between C2 ,C4 of Leclerc and C5 of Verstappen and take out that brake problem and the car might be much closer than people think and maybe even equal.
It’s wrong… It was on C3… I watched the run

I wouldn't believe either. Marko is full of bs and Lando is underhyping his team. I would wait the next weeks significant update and permanent fix to the brakes to see where the car stands with the C5 on the limit.

Guys this time was done on C3 (yellow tyre, right?) 2:30min before the end of today's session - source F1TV replay
Lando Norris McLaren 1.33.191
Oh, thanks 👍 strange that autosport/motorsport.com + Sky got it wrong.
Probably one got it wrong and the other copied the information :)

Will the update be significant? The quotes I’ve read said there will be an update for the first GP, not sure I’ve read that it’s necessarily big?

What is the difference between C1-C2-C3-C4 and C5 on time difference?
Depends on the time of day, the bahrain heat and what lap you're on on those tires.

The bouncing makes me wonder if their front suspension is perhaps too low or too weak (given the bumpy track in Bahrein). The car is also looking a bit too simplistic from an aero perspective. The bouncing could also be related to porpoising, but it seems a bit different to what Alpine and Mercedes are suffering from.

Is this the base car that we used for both tests?

At least from what I could see for Bahrain we brought a reprofiled front wing and a new floor.

What about that race 1 upgrade. Any info of how significant it can be apart from solving our brake issue.

Hard to imagine it being very significant. With the race being less than a week from today, doesn't make much sense to test huge diversions form this package at the last moment. Unless they were limited by manufacturing and just couldn't get those parts ready for this test.

Either way, the primary focus point should be to fix those brakes. They won't even be able to finish the race if that's not dealt with.

Let's hope the team be more consistent with the 3 first podium places than last year cause at this rate the only victories with top form I have seen from Mclaren is from the old F1 2000 in my Playstation 1.

Wins this year wouldn't have been a realistic goal either way. But with how this test went, I would tone the expectations down a bit. It's a long season anyway. If they start with issues that can be ironed out through development, they can probably get closer towards the end.

In the mean time though, I'll probably feed my nostalgia a bit too by watching one or two of the older races from the 2010-2012 era
