I was checking to see if they was significantly raised, couldn't see it, but we could be talking millimetres.
Considering that Mick Schumacher had purple S2 two times, in the end of the session, I reckon there is way too much performance to come from most cars.
Yes, the forum slid down impressively since the last time I was still very active(2014). But it´s not only due to Hamilton haters, most of his fans aren´t great contributors to the forum, either. ( Mea culpa : On many of my posts, I´m not a great contributor either, these days, to make it clear. When I was active, I would post mostly on the technical threads and now almost always on the "general chat" part which will inevitably consists of more "fanboyistic" posts anyway)NathanOlder wrote: ↑19 Mar 2022, 14:53Because this is a technical forum, and making statements like that is just make belive and will continue the slide downwards that this forum has been on for the last 3-4yrs.
After the race thread trolling from last year i was hoping this year would be calmer , but seems not.dans79 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2022, 15:06Some of us are getting real tired of stupid trolling comments(not talking about any one post specifically)! This used to be a forum for intelligent technically minded people, now it's no better than reddit. If something substantial isn't done about it, the forum will be in Twitter and Facebook territory before too long!
No technically minded person on this forum has ever called a 2014 and forward merc horrible, that is how I know your post is untrue. Hamilton, as Verstappen, has, for the most part, dominated his teammate in the same equipment. None of us is privy to enough data to say which is dragging more out of their car. Allowing that type of nonsense talk around here will definitely lower the quality of this forum. What you describe is in your head and has not been the norm around here.Artur Craft wrote: ↑19 Mar 2022, 15:10To several members of this forum, for the last 8 years, it has been perfectly correct to hype Hamilton up and imply he is the one making the results, not the horrible Mercedes´ cars that the poor chap has been carrying around on his back for almost a decade now. However, if someone dares to imply that VER´s car is not that good and he is the one making the difference, then, that gets imediately tagged as "trolling" and the post is asked to be removedwogx wrote: ↑19 Mar 2022, 14:26Why?NathanOlder wrote: ↑19 Mar 2022, 14:06The original comment also needs removing too as its just an attempt to blatantly troll and get reactions like it did.
In the autosport forum is much worse, though. If you dare to say that other drivers are faster than Hamilton, you get banned! No, I´m not kidding about that
On more recent times, the, let´s say, "worship" of Lewis considerably diminished on the forum, which is good.
FOM graphics are horrible. They credited MSC with purple S2 for two times and it turns out it´s far from the truth, going by that image. Does anybody know a place to check the best sector times of FPs other than the official, paid, app? On fia.com, they post best sector times of QLF only.
So much faster !?
this weekend this Twitter account always posted screenshots of it after the sessions. No idea if they'll keep doing it, but it may be worth a lookArtur Craft wrote: ↑19 Mar 2022, 15:42Does anybody know a place to check the best sector times of FPs other than the official, paid, app? This is so important and the main reason why Masi needed to go, what stopped Masi from implementing and enforcing this already codified regulation other than incompetence? To be fully fair Whiting did not fully enforce it either.Chris Medland@ChrisMedlandF1
Race director Niels Wittich told the drivers in the driver briefing last night that the track limits this year will be defined by the white line at every circuit, and the rule will not change.
As an it guy makes me wonder really how they have tested these new graphics , did they run in parallel last year to check if they work or just thought lets see what happens on the first race?Artur Craft wrote: ↑19 Mar 2022, 15:42On more recent times, the, let´s say, "worship" of Lewis considerably diminished on the forum, which is good.

Both teams are hiding their hand still, maybe Ferrari's hiding a bit more for now. Maybe. Q3 will tell.
Big thanks!search wrote: ↑19 Mar 2022, 15:52this weekend this Twitter account always posted screenshots of it after the sessions. No idea if they'll keep doing it, but it may be worth a look
