Once again being an McLaren fan  it hurts for me, but congrats to Ferrari for turning around their car over the years and creating a monster, i wish them all the luck to win both constructor and drivers championship this year.

Thank you very much for those kind words! It’s a pity McLaren has some problems now, but I’m sure it will not take long until we see them up there as well.

The race is tomorrow, wait to see how the car behaves on different tyres, long runs, etc :) Good car, good engine, not bad.
AeroGimli.x

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

That’s true. It’s tomorrow when it really counts. The long run pace seems to be competitive as well for all we know until now. I’m cautiously optimistic.

Thanks for the telemetry as always!
I always assumed the red bit of the battery indicator bar on the display meant <20% remaining but it looks like that isn't the case.

It is the battery. Ferrari almost never drain below ~15%. If you go look at their previous pole laps from bahrain you'll see the same thing. They're probably hitting the limit on allowed deployment per lap.

The hype train has already left the station. No matter what happens, we can't stop now.

Seriously though, I don't know what to expect tomorrow. We know Red Bull's long runs were very strong. Hoping the same for Ferrari.

You can hear the car touching the ground! They still have some work to do.

That's not a problem. That's a feature.

There is not a single car which is not touching the ground.

Funny seeing the Mercedes/Ham fans rooting for Ferrari in these threads wanting them to beat Max

When it comes to strategy I think there's a potential dilemma, Ferrari don't have a number 2 they can easily sacrifice for strategy like Perez in Abu Dhabi, neither Sainz nor Leclerc will want to do that, so I don't think they can use the pincer strategy to try and thwart Max
What are you talking about? I am an F1 fan first. And that makes me a Ferrari fan. Always rooted for the red team even when their chips were down. They are the underdogs now and I am sure many F1 fans would like to see a Ferrari constructor championship. I am not even looking on the drivers. For me the constructor would be more rewarding for them.

I do have a feeling Max underperformed here though. He did not get the most out of the car and tyres. So it's very possible the RB18 has legs on the F1-75. No clue on how it treats the tyres. But reliability is there and that's a big advantage for a new formula.
For Sure!!

Spoken like a Ferrari fan, assume the rest is stronger despite ample evidence so far that they have worked well.

Leclerc’s lap is full of little errors and Ferrari hasn’t rolled out a new suspension or floor to fully fix porpoising like RBR has instead said yesterday.

You may be a Ferrari fan but you are always quite pessimistic about them, to the point of ignoring data. Oh well.

I have seen too many times where they have the car but poor pitstops.
Or the car has pace not in every stint. Or it has good wear but no pace.
I will believe they have the best race car and team after three races.
Leclerc almost won here then disaster struck.
The car was quick.

The car's stability is inpressive. The corner exit is very crisp too.

As for the drivers. I sensed disapointment in Sainz in the post qualy interview. I think he will be the first to crack when it comes to drawing first blood in the inter team battle. Leclerc is moving into his head space now.
I know Sainz is hungry for a win but he needs ti keep calm and focus and the win will come.
I hope both keep it clean on track.
For Sure!!
