Seriously? I respect your posts, but to say the Merc is close to Redbull/Ferrari to not make too much of a difference is a very strange comment, 0.7 down is a magnitude, if it was Merc, people would be using the terms dominant
If it was a single team, it would be dominance. But now there are two teams that are performing more or less equal, so yes, those drivers can compete on merit.
I was hoping other teams to be closer; maybe to have Haas & Alfa in the mix and I would certainly have liked to see McLaren or Williams to be up there too, but that doesn't seem to be the case yet. But having two teams up there is better than having one team dominate.
yes those two teams can, with the proviso in qualifying, tomorrow could be a different ball game.
But no way is Merc in their league, so not sure how Merc can supposidly compete on Merit.
If he had mentioned Redbull and Ferrari, I'd have agreed, but Merc was included.
