What is the Enstone windtunnel like? Do they have rolling yaw table?
This doesn't answer your question specifically but it suggests it has all the bell and whistles.

Unsurprisingly, Szafnauer sees untapped potential in the Enstone factory and Viry engine headquarters – especially with its facilities and the run of investment Renault has put in since rejoining the grid in 2016.

“I was impressed with all the manufacturing facilities, the windtunnel, and the amount of people,” he said.

“The design office had a refurbishment. The fact that we make our own gearbox, we design and make. So that gives you a bit of an advantage. And to design and make your own powertrain, too. So, it’s all there.”

In other news ...
After the #BahrainGP, we identified a suspected sealing issue with the Power Unit in Fernando’s car. As a precaution the ICE has been changed for the Saudi GP and the Bahrain unit sent back to Viry for further analysis.

This season the work of cameramen and directors is very depressing. They focus only on top cars, and the A522 very rarely gets into the frame. Fabrega even shows us more

Alonso had traffic for 3 laps in a row, had to abandon, each time was up 3/10 on his lap before end of sector 1

8-10 seem to be there place … like last year.

Hopefully Miami updates will help, but all the teams will progress this year

Yep I just don't see how Alpine can close the gap. They can bring upgrades, but so will the others. Winning in F1 is about starting from the front in the first race and then and just maintaining the gap. Look at Ferrari now.

Alpine need to start conceptual work for the A523 now.

Your presuming that every upgrade will bring the same amount of performance. They will not, they could be 1 small upgrade away from unlocking 1/2 a seconds a lap. This isn't like when we have had the same regs for years and you moving pieces mms in the wind tunnel. You making huge changes. The equivalent of A523 could be coming in Miami.

Alpine is doing conceptual work for A523 from the moment all cars hit the track. Part of that work is to figure out which concept out there, works the best and offers the most. What ever work, or research they are doing for A522, it's going to be extremely important for A523 also.
