Speed traces for all the teams on the back straight, they Merc PU’s seem to be clipping

Watching the McLaren onboard laps vs the Ferraris shows that we use all our battery way before the last corner whereas the Ferrari are still using it up until the finish line.
I'm not sure if the Merc Pu is getting all it can from the battery but it would explain why the Merc teams are struggling.
I believe that they are having to use more ERS than Ferrari because of lack of power and therefore, clipping at the end of the straights.
Or the Ferrari has a better ERS system?
Just a fan's point of view

I believe the clipping is more a signal of covering other issues than lack of battery capacity itself… Ferrari may as well have a better ERS system, butI wouldn’t expect the top speed to taper the way it does on the Mercedes PU’s

This is a little off topic but Honda is losing a lot of engines this year. Tsunoda is out of engine before this GP start.

On topic now. Good luck to the team and fingers crossed for some points in here.

Hoping for some points today, but will need some scraps up ahead to benefit from. Every chance around this circuit!

More concerned about the first lap… I believe opportunities will be there if they managed to make it clean.

One more place so far but I am not sure if we can go more than 10th at the moment. Even 10th is gonna be hard.

Unfortunately gotta hope for carnage because the pace is not enough to get in the points.

But it's important to see, the pace is not extremely bad. It's midfield territory. If we can unlock some performance we could jump ahead.

At the moment I think 11th and 12th are the best results we can get.

RIC lapping faster than Magnussen and Gasly… Depending on how quickly he catches Latiffi, he could be out in front of them… But LAT is on Albon’s DRS, which means that he could lose time overtaking them

Yes some clean air for Ric, hopefully he'll make some ground.
