Some say that
798 kg (min) - Alfa Romeo
803 kg - Haas , McLaren
805 kg - Alpine
808 kg - Ferrari
813 kg - Red Bull n' Mercedes.
This means for me that A522 can improve in that section (0,1) but every kilo will cost 250k $
Looks pretty accurate. AMuS said the same in their latest article regarding the topic: https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/for ... ackierung/

How would they know ? Maybe they asked Whitney Houston.

Maybe they looked at the pre race, post race weights?

Don't believe they actually record the weight unless the car is under weight. You just get a complies with weight limit.

So Pat Fry came out and said they were 2 KG over the limit , but then that might have been a bad translation and that he actually said a couple KGs. That isn'tthe same as 2.

On Monday he complained about the stays and the change to ruling to allow 2 outboard stays. That they would have to consider that when they design/build thier next floor and poof they show up with a new floor in Australia on thursaday.

Starting to think he has a tight relasionship with the Italian boyz at motorsport from his time at Ferrari. That he's having interviews with them, of parts of which he doesn't want to release until he says so. That interview about the floor with motorsport might have taken place weeks ago, and he releases that interview to coinside with the release of the new floor.

It's nice to see Alpine hustling around looking for improvement. As far as I noticed, the floor has actually changed a little, different cuts. Side pontoons have become more muscular like the RB. Maybe I was confused by the pink version, which does not show everything. Again there are no gills, is there really enough cooling?

Decent FP2 from Alpine. Not a bad front end from the shots I saw- hopefully they keep on building on a solid start!

The way Alonso is driving, Piastri will not be in that seat next year.

Somebody has to go. Piastri might have to leave Alpine because Alonso will be more motivated than ever this season to keep his seat. I wouldn't bet against an enraged Alonso.

Ocon and Alonso have been pretty even, with a slight edge to Alonso so far this season but he's been let down by the car twice now.

Piastri's a smart cookie. He knows Ocon has a contract for next season, and he knows Alonso earns his keep. There's no seat at Alpine for next season and 1,000 furrowed brows on the pitwall isn't going to change that. He needs to convince Stroll to go take up cricket or sell Vettel a bridge. That's the only opening I see (unless Mclaren sack Ricciardo or Hamilton retires which will trigger some reshuffling that would let him on the grid).

It is unusual to observe such activity of Alpine in quali sim. Alonso seems to have found the optimal balance faster, but 5th-6th places are not obvious

Still lose half second in the last sector what a shame
