Can you elaborate further, with a comparison?
The size of center cooling inlet and all of that area kind of gives it away a bit
I was wondering what that was.pursue_one's wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 16:47Lewis ran an Laser Ride height sensor.

Indeed at one point, I thought it was a piece of metal glowing from the friction of hitting the floor.

The rads on the merc appear lower set.matteosc wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 17:32Ferrari does not have any (significant) radiator in the airscope, while Mercedes does. This clearly increases the height of the COG for Mercedes. It is a drawback of having very small sidepodes.
Quick and dirty overlay (color dodge mode) of both floors, the RB one distorted to (very) roughly fit the Merc one. I think it's possible to make out which is which - i'd argue that there isn't any big difference in length (gif)F1Krof wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 13:29Is it the perspective, or does it seem like the Red Bull's underfloor streaks look a lot longer than Mercs'?e30ernest wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 11:12Here you go:BaSubScribe wrote: ↑10 Apr 2022, 18:10People earlier were posting pics of Mercs floor and comparing it to Red Bull's. Can someone post a pic of Red Bull's floor for the side by side comparison?

Merc on the left, Red Bull on the right.
Looking at the front and rear wings, both more draggy, wonder why they have felt the need to go extremedjones wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 17:53I was wondering what that was.pursue_one's wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 16:47Lewis ran an Laser Ride height sensor.

It is exactly that. Not a laserdjones wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 17:53I was wondering what that was.pursue_one's wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 16:47Lewis ran an Laser Ride height sensor.

I disagree. Mercedes are radiators in the airscope, Ferrari does not. I am not sure why you are saying that they are lower, maybe I misunderstood.Quantum wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 18:06The rads on the merc appear lower set.
Couldn't it be part of the 1.5 kg of sensors on Lewis car?N21 wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 19:03It is exactly that. Not a laserdjones wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 17:53I was wondering what that was.pursue_one's wrote: ↑11 Apr 2022, 16:47Lewis ran an Laser Ride height sensor.

That shows even more clearly that it's just glowing skid plate from the heat.
Mercedes main engine coolant radiators are definitely lower set than Ferraris
