and most of that would probably fall under this exemption.Mistakes were made with regard to other matters, such as catering and absenteeism due to illness. That sounds like small beer, but at Red Bull's factory in Milton Keynes, more than 1,000 employees get a free lunch every day. Some employees are not covered by the budget cap, others are.

.It's happening now anyway. Christian Horner now in the office of Mohammed Ben Sulayem. #F1
And after about fifteen minutes they come out together, Horner and Ben Sulayem. #F1
Talk is now underway at Red Bull motorhome. Shaila-Ann Rao is also present on behalf of the FIA.

What is clear is that a deal between the FIA and Red Bull is definitely not yet done. To be continued possibly later today. President has said he will 'come back' in few hours.
Yeah, £5 daily is pretty 'chitty' if you ask me...Big Tea wrote: ↑21 Oct 2022, 22:15That depends on the refractory. I had £5 daily 'chitty' which would cover a start, main a desert and a bar to take out and as much tea or coffee as you want all day.
Most company facilities are subsidised by the company and the actual cost is not reflected.
Edit, it included 'light' breakfast 'help-your-self'
What is it about the RB catering that makes it so expensive and that they can't cut back?dxpetrov wrote: ↑21 Oct 2022, 19:25Because not everyone has the same cost related to different expenses. RB is know for their expenditure for entertainment, caterings, events... And not everyone treats their staff the same way. This episodes is so farcical that it will be soon forgotten faster than it occurred. But BSer will always BS.mwillems wrote: ↑21 Oct 2022, 18:22I just listened to an interview on Sky Sports. It talks about how the numbers around the Cafeteria, Redundancy pay and the Sick pay may put a different perspective on this for Red Bull, inferring it makes it look like it is a bit harsh. But I don't get that because didn't everyone have the same costs and accounting? Naturally if you feel you have a bit more to spend in a championship going to the wire, that extra to spend will go to in season and next season car performance...? The reality is they didn't have that money to spend and benefitted from it, irrespective of whether they intended to or not.
Yeah I read that earlier, I also saw a thread on another site that also mentioned that the FIA may have "clarified" the rules after the closing date for the teams submissions, in relation to the way unused parts are costed.
Possibly. If your discussing something this serious you'll give a team their voice and some time to think about it before you "come back". But that doesn't mean you are or are not swayed. It can be a gesture so as not to seem blunt, it could be that he cannot act unilaterally and needs to discuss with other individuals... who knows.chrisc90 wrote: ↑21 Oct 2022, 23:31I imagine if the president is 'coming back' to Horner then there might actually be some foundation behind the claims of RB.
When did Dan Fallows get moved over onto the Valkyrie Project? I know it was 25th June 2021 that he announced he had signed for AM, so I imagine RB would have moved him over pretty sharply. I wonder if the FIA are looking at his wage on the Valkyrie Project as being included in the 2021 cap, potentially under gardening leave.
Did that actually happen? I haven’t had chance to check.
