Max bought out his old tricks when he’s got nothing to lose. No intention to make corners, and just hoping people yield out the way. 99% of pundits agree, and so did the stewards. Move on.

Lewis screwed his own race by that move on Max. He could have waited and the opportunity would have arrived. Hot headed defence that ultimately cost a potential race win.

Max showed his class today. Lewis, Perez and even his own team ("what happened there") can testify. And people claim he 'has grown".

Think the George comments were warranted. Drove well today, and utilised the car advantage he had. Expecting a different story tomorrow though. Lewis and Max are different animals on Sundays , and Russell ballsed up his pole in Hungary.

Today essentially was a Sunday. Don’t follow your logic.

The part where Lewis actually starts next to Russell and not back in 8th. That part. Lewis has shown better race pace/tyre management over entire stints on heavier fuel too, not just 20 odd laps. Also, Max, damage or no damage, and not being on the mediums, will be a different prospect. Today is nothing like yesterday.

George seemed to handle it fine.
