Pretty sure AMR can order springs for the rear suspension in any stiffness they want. They're stuck with geometry that they get from the suspension but the springs and stiffness can be variable.
It sounds like the difference to RB is that RB has much more rear suspension travel allowing them to raise the rear of the car, and run softer springs without having to worry about crashing into the bump stops as the aero load picks up at high speed.
