What it does appear to have is a short (longitudinal length) to the end-plate, with ‘legality connectors’ from the rear elements of the FW to the end-plate (similar in concept to what AMG have done). Big outwash!!

Also, the undercut continues for the full length of the pod (last year was more of a fillet).organic wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 08:56https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FpogFT-X0AE ... &name=orig
The ramp pinches inwards towards the rear more on the rb19. Probably trying to feed more air up towards the beam wing rather than around the diffuser
Indeed. This + the ramp pinching inboard at the end: probably trying to achieve some inwash around the side of the sidepod undercut, ferrari-styleStu wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 09:05Also, the undercut continues for the full length of the pod (last year was more of a fillet).organic wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 08:56https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FpogFT-X0AE ... &name=orig

We've seen these or similar beam wings last year, but only on high-downforce tracks. Rear wing also looks a bit too much for Bahrain, good to see even RB is testing all sorts of things.
Well, it worked for them last year, and if anything it makes people more interested in seeing the car.
