This is a pretty amusing article because there are two scoops here (Stroll will be available this weekend, and Stroll had a broken wrist), and they're entirely mutually exclusive. If Stroll really did break a wrist, he'll be out for a couple of weeks at least. So, even if the article is credible, both of those statements can't be true at the same time.
If there's anyone who has a better understanding of how long a broken wrist takes to heal to be able to race again please correct me if I'm wrong!
Apparently he visited a well renowned specialist in Barcelona, I'm not an expert but maybe it will heal faster that way. Money can get you places
I don't understand why they try so hard to come back fast. Lewis did it in 2020 after his COVID, Albon did after his surgery and now Stroll appears to be desperate. They come back, do a sub par job and then give an excuse about their injury after a while. Is there a sense of insecurity going on with drivers?
Completely agree with this and I had posted something similar earlier.
For what it is worth, in the UK if a patient of mine had a fractured upper limb, the professional guidance is to withhold from driving for 6-8 weeks, and to inform the authorities (DVLA) if still unable to drive 3 months after the injury.
How it is possible to drive an F1 car and get extracted out in time or to risk a worse injury with a shunt is beyond my comprehension.
Edited due to a typo.
