I recall a bit of ruffled feathers last season over talk of eliminating the break.FGD wrote:The three week break is making us desperate.
I think it's something appreciated more by the mechanics and support crews for the teams. It's got to be pretty rough packing and unpacking all that stuff, week after week, month after month. But for the fans, well... I'm feeling F1 withdrawl symptoms as we speak. The FOZ wrote:I recall a bit of ruffled feathers last season over talk of eliminating the break.FGD wrote:The three week break is making us desperate.
I dunno...it seems even if there is a break, most of the teams go and do SOMETHING anyhow - Like goodwood this year.
I'd almost say ditch it, you could theoretically add another event to the calendar and only push the end of season back another week, using the one week racing, one week off model.
You know, that's absolutely understandable...coaching a winter sport has me on the road every weekend all winter long, and by the end of season, I'm ready to lose my marbles...so yeah, I can totally understand that feeling.FGD wrote:I think it's something appreciated more by the mechanics and support crews for the teams.
