When you have to go down on your knees and beg to get back in to F1, you don't have the pull to dictate who drives. After RBR chose to go it alone, the only team options left for Honda were AMR and Williams. They were rejected by McLaren. So despite being a really good PU Manufacturer, they weren't in a position to make demands of AMR.

I think Honda and Alonso already said it's not a problem. Honda has learned a lot, Alonso will be stupid to say no to Honda in my opinion.

It's a possibility, but what is your case behind that statement. If you're going down the "wounds are too big to be healed" path, it seems to be the same reasoning that was used back then that Alonso would never drive a Merc engine ever again after 2007, to which you could reply that the Japanese have a higher honour code or whatever but it's still business between mostly pragmatic people who have, true or not but at least have, stated that the past is behind them. Diffuser has also mentioned that they most likely lack the power to dictate who drives anyway. But I agree that not driving is a possibility however, so if you have another reason why that might be the case, then please explain.

Alonso went back to Mclaren and Renault…

A good driver is a rarity. Honda want the best driver available to put them on the board.

The only reason Alonso wouldn’t drive is if he decided to retire.

Here is my reasons:

1. Honda is a Japan based not Eu or AM region. - Mclaren and Renault is EU based.
2. Honda will never ever run with Alonso. They won't and its their culture and tradition. They won't forgot it like others.
3. Honda may be having similar RB agreement with AMR. Like, giving out free engine or with reduced cost. and may run with Japan driver.
4. Stroll JR won't like his kid loosing with Alonso any father won't like it.
5. The main agenda of the AMR is to have Stroll JR as WDC not Alonso
6. if they put Tsunoda in AMR in 2025 or 2026, Stroll can easily dominate Tsunoda
7. Stroll SR will be getting cheapest Engine from Honda and can use those budget elsewhere to improve the car.
8. Alonso is not stupid, If the car is not going anywhere in 2024 he will jump the ship. The only final option he has is Ferrari when Saniz is going out in 2025 from Ferrari.
9. Ferrari is not stupid to put one more young driver along with Lecrec. They did their experience with Sainz they failed it. So, they may or will look for Alonso for 1+1 2025 and 2026. then they may lure Max from RB in 2027 and beyond

He also recently given any interview in that he stated, he may go back to ferrari if he want to revert the time to past. So he is not rolling out Ferrari move in 2025.

Stroll is decent, but would need a big car advantage and a hobbled team mate to ever be WDC.

Considering Stroll's gap to Alonso, and the gap from perez (who himself beat stroll as teammates) to verstappen we can say that Stroll would probably struggle to win the championship in the rb19.. in the era of the cost cap/sliding development scale I find it just obscenely unlikely for him to be able to win one

I might agree that its an extremely unlikely prospect but Im sure theres at least 2 people who see it as a possibility. One of them is Lawrence Stroll. This is the main reason he owns a F1 team. This is why he bought into Prema when Lance was moving into F3. They already have the blue print which they believe can work. Its how Lance won the F3 title. Have a really dominant car and a teammate Lance can compete with, throw in some team orders and strategy calls favorable to Lance and voila. Do I think its likely to happen in F1? No. Simply because its much harder to get a dominant car in F1 than in junior series. But in the Stroll's minds, that would be the plan. Get Lance to improve as much as he can and if they ever get a dominant car, they can stack the deck in his favor and anything can happen.

Krack said to look at the FIA document. According to what is known, there should be changes for Zandvoort and Singapore while Monza only circuit specific, but it could be wrong as always.

Krack said to Sky Sports after Spa that there are "a couple of things planned for Zandvoort" - so there will be new parts.

Marca published the rumour that these updates are related to the floor, sidepodes and DRS.

Motorsport network published the rumour that they will introduce a new front wing in Singapore.

We will see if the rumours are true...
