This is why you never play frisbee with the steering wheel before installation.
Ummm why are you ignoring Lando's time? On used softs on this tough track no less?randolf wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 16:03Fernando and Sergio had consistent pace and were the quickest in the race sim. Ferrari didn't have consistent pace while they started faster than others. Then it was Mercedes drivers and then Max.

I mean we could add the pitstop time to aggregate....Macklaren wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 17:40Ummm why are you ignoring Lando's time? Without knowing everything going on here I would tend to agree with you.
Tbf their Friday engine modes have been very low since Hungary. Losing time on every straight to Ferrari even well before the end of the straight.. I think they're trying to avoid taking engine penalties
Bingo!
The race pace of RB looked fine from what I saw in long run data? Checo was the quickest on mediums iircValeVida46 wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 18:43Bingo!
I mean I don't think this is entirely the case, but given the near 0.5 second relative loss in the little race pace data we have (singapore)from circuit to circuit..... it suggests more than just track variation or surface.
Without the margins they had in other races.organic wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 18:47The race pace of RB looked fine from what I saw in long run data? Checo was the quickest on mediums iircValeVida46 wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 18:43Bingo!

That may be true in the big DRS straight but it's not true in the non DRS straight after T14. furthermore RBR has always gained at the end of the straight against Ferrari, so even just them not doing it is news to me.organic wrote: ↑15 Sep 2023, 18:41Tbf their Friday engine modes have been very low since Hungary. If you see the time loss traces relative to Ferrari, it's not like they're losing more time at the end of the straight.. it's like a continuous loss along the straight
This my interpretation anyway. Especially after what we saw at Monza, Zandvoort, Hungary etc
