Oh the old reverse jinx trick!
Don't worry, redbull 1-2 this race. The track will rubber in and they will be on the pace. Especially Perez. I think he has good race pace.
Max will figure it out.
Even with changeing the floor back to the old floor.
I dont think what we are seeing today is due to flexible bodywork. Seems like they just couldnt turn the tire on.ringo wrote: ↑16 Sep 2023, 16:12What everyone will ask...
How much of this championship was atributed to flexible body work, as well as last years?
Max and Perez looking ordinary now. Not able to wring the neck of the car and put it where it doesnt belong.
The other teams could see this last half as an opportunity to get a few wins. But i suspect the car should be sorted out in a race or 2
The drivers would need to recalibrate what they expect under braking and turning so i think they did what they could. The car went from dominant and telepathic to unpredictable. It's shocking as Max said. The drivers would have zero confidence. Puts perspective on those other guys driving the dogs.
Do you think the other teams have made a mistake trying to copy the RB?ringo wrote: ↑16 Sep 2023, 16:16The drivers would need to recalibrate what they expect under braking and turning so i think they did what they could. That's a huge problem. Copying a car that needs flexing to work.AR3-GP wrote: ↑16 Sep 2023, 16:37Do you think the other teams have made a mistake trying to copy the RB?ringo wrote: ↑16 Sep 2023, 16:16The drivers would need to recalibrate what they expect under braking and turning so i think they did what they could. From the very fast outlaps, to the poor sector 1 (max had a moment, Perez even spun) to knowing that redbull conserve tires (but heats up poorly) to the Haas’ (very good on tire warm up) being fast, to Max being as fast as the rest on the 3 lap run, everything points to tire temp issues.napoleon1981 wrote: ↑16 Sep 2023, 16:15I dont think what we are seeing today is due to flexible bodywork. Next year everyone will have a 0 pod design.ringo wrote: ↑16 Sep 2023, 16:41That's a huge problem. Copying a car that needs flexing to work.AR3-GP wrote: ↑16 Sep 2023, 16:37Do you think the other teams have made a mistake trying to copy the RB?ringo wrote: ↑16 Sep 2023, 16:16

Mclaren seem to hav found a nice middle ground. Ferrari will need to scrap the 2024 redbull copy.
