Seems no one has any good things to say about these tyres Including the wets. Pirelli have done a pretty poor job to be fair and blaming the drivers is not right.
So now they've moved the goal posts mid game upsetting all the planning that had been done regarding tyre usage for this race.
In such a high tech high expense sport it's just not on.
Shame on you Pirelli.
On a side note it would be interesting if we had 2 tyre suppliers and the teams could use either as it suits them, would surely show who makes the better tyre for a given condition.

I agree that Pirelli has been generally incompetent but i think its good that they're dealing with this before the race. Better than delamination and blowouts in race.

This is hilarious - Alonso was cleaning up his starting spot in the sprint - going over it during the sprint so he has better start in the race.

So HAM will start on softs betting on the clean side of the track or the aggressive RUS to offset VER ?

Rus will drop a place to ham unless he himself starts on softs

I like the idea, but it'd be a gamble & need a SC early to help extend them.

If he just matches Russell's strategy, his race pace should ensure that P2 or podium is on the cards for Hamilton.

On the upside - drivers may be able to push more if tyres do not degrade in those 18 laps. Could mean we have more mistakes.
