Good race by those Alfas. Probably benefitted the most from not having to come up with a strategy themselves ;)

Surprised at how different the drivers look at 3 stops and more full push. This tire management is very gentle on the drivers.

Max claims he was pushed by the mclarens. Would have been a lot more interesting if Norris was p2 at the start. Amazing performance by Mclaren.

He had to. Anyone with eyes can see it was his fault. Saying Russell should have let him by because he was on softs is not an argument or that Russell is behind in points so should have let Hamilton pass without challenge.
Judging the actions on track, Lewis' actions caused that crash. Just like Barcelona 2016 with Rosberg. The pundits will find a way to split the blame between them maybe even bring Max into the blame equation.

As he should. Never a good idea on trying to be a hero on the outside while three cars abreast. Same mistake Perez did yesterday.
Again totally missing the point.

On somebody from a different team it would have been a silly move.

On your teammate who was on the slower tyre on the slower side it was a move that should have been not only been allowed but planned by the team!

He needed to get in front of Max at almost all costs for the benefit of the team. Why even bother starting him on softs if the intention was not for Lewis to put pressure on max until the softs went off at circa lap 5.

Perez just finished 10th behind both Alfas in the most dominant car in history in a race where there was 1 less Mercedes and Ferrari and at one points ahead of George after the SC :wtf:

Norris and Verstappen both believe Russell couldn't have done anything in lap 1 collision - both blamed Hamilton after seeing it on TV

Not a bad race to be honest.

Just shows we need tyres that dont last as long so they can make them much grippier.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

The team still have questions to answer. There should have been someone in the garage to say what needs to happen for the best interests of the team.

George fighting Lewis hurt Lewis chance to pass Max into T1 and therefore keep Max running slower for a while, which would've actually benefited George even if just a little. Instead Lewis had to evade George driving into him as he tried to get out from behind Max on the run to T1.

We've seen how quickly the softs fall off too so Lewis was always going to get overtaken.

Lewis messed up, but I can't understand Mercs way of doing things in regards to George and his position in the team. He seems to have way more clout than he should.

This track should never ever grace a formula one car ever again, there's so many other tracks that can take its place.
The track is excellent, the tires are crap. Not to mention we have 4 more years of these crap tires!
It’s a great track for motorbikes not F1 cars. Then there’s the total lack of atmosphere, more species at today’s Brands BTCC round than at Losail by the look of it. Like Covid closed four events again.

Norris is friends with Max ffs. They game, they play padel, they do lots of stuff away from F1. Norris has taken swipes at Lewis in the media numerous times. Keep up

And Norris' view that he was the quickest on track?

He must be doing that to... Hmm everything pointing the same way: both drivers, the actual race pace in clean air.. only thing pointing to a RB advantage in this race is the precedent of previous weekends.
