That is ridiculous and emphasizes how bad it is that a 10 year contract was agreed with the circuit before it could be rigourously ensured that F1 can race here..

Logan Sargeant was checked into the medical centre, and Albon checked himself in

Ocon has reported that he was "throwing up for 2 laps" around lap 15/16.

Russell and Norris were steering the car with their wrists to get fresh air to their skin

And that's just what we know already. What an absolute joke
But we didn’t have drivers getting sick back in 2021 when the cars were faster. What gives?
It was hot and very humid. The humidity makes a big difference . Singapore which is typically hot & humid is known as the toughest race on the calendar. The sprint and Friday had low humidity

It was made worse by the 18 lap maximum stint length as this meant all drivers were pushing more than normal, so more like 57 push laps rather than doing management
Heat stress can be very dangerous and may even lead to heat stroke and death. This is when humidity and heat become too high that a person doesn't release sweat to cool down the body temp.

He also set his personal best on the last lap of the race
Max and Charles were the ones looking the "best" after the race.
Lando and Pierre are super fit guys.

Stroll and Sergeant (the classical pay drivers) suffered the most it seems. They are competing against professionals.
Apparently Sargeant had been ill before the race weekend already. So that didn't help.

That was kinda dangerous rejoining the track from Alonso, wasn't it?
No.
He was reprimanded, so...

I think just for the sake of not just neglecting it. He was away from the racing line and only Lec moving to the right made it look more problematic than it was and that was intentional.

Stroll said he was passing out in the car, and in this clip it looks like he isn’t 100% conscious, his head bangs from right to left against the headrest and his right hand drops from the steering wheel

Why are people still in here crying? the man apologied and took full responsibility, move on or get help
Only Lewis Hamilton fans could still argue it wasn't Lewis' fault, after Lewis made a you turn after viewing the footage and took 100% responsibility. I guess Alonso' words still ring in their ears when they see such incident so have to go into full defence mode.

I think what we saw yesterday was probably a bit over the limit of what F1 drivers are capable of when
temperatures and humidity levels are that high. Lucky Stroll didn't lose consciousness entirely
and crashed. Bad enough seeing him struggle to get out of the car and then stumble into a medical
vehicle.

Might be time for the FIA to look into better cooling solutions for the drivers. What they have the at the moment just isn't good enough.

I just discovered Russell wasn't pinged for one track limits violation where he was 100% off, and he was less than 5s ahead of leclerc at the end. Leclerc told ferrari on the cool down to check every russell's lap because he was on a 3 strikes black & white flag already, but I guess they didn't do that.

It's possible he missed timing loop detection completely and got away with it. Silly fia & ferrari for missing this.

thanks Juzh.
how silly these rules are.
you aren't allowed to drive off the track, but at the same time you are allowed. I mean the regulations basically say, you can violate that three times for free. then get a penalty for fourth violation and violate the rule three more times for free again. at the same times other drivers respect the rule and stay within the track limit all the time.
complete farce ..these rules and I was fully expecting something like that to happen, and decide a victory, podium, whatever one day.
wasn't Piastri pinged for extra track limit violation too? because he was on three strikes as well.

This may be a stupid question, but was maybe the track excursion George had on lap 1 turn 1 disregarded? I mean, that wasn’t really coloring outside the line.

No.
It absolutely was a dangerous rejoin, and clearly should have been penalized
I'm a big Alonso fan but he clearly should have been penalized for that rejoin. How he wasn't, I have no idea.

Prob because the Ferrari didn't have to slow down and he came out at racing speed and was able to immediately continue racing.

I'm a bit torn over it. Not sure what to think. But i haven't looked into it from Leclercs PoV.
