Are Mercedes spinning the fan for the wind tunnel anti-clockwise when it should spin clockwise
I don't buy the failed upgrade narrative because in that case it's possible to bring an old spec to compare.
"It was a very close Qualifying session and we did not optimise things today.

"During free practice, we suffered with overheating front brakes on both cars and resolving that issue cost us valuable preparation time.

I was thinking more about before the race. Don't think they learned much from the 3 laps on Softs. After the sprint shootout and race, they might have learned enough to effectuate a change or atleast a test.
Was it ever in doubt?
It wasn't, Peter was always better, just that he was sidelined while Key was at McL and didn't provide much input. That's why they decided to change the technical structure.
