Didn't they fail the frontal crash test??
Maybe the "real" nose just isnt ready yet, even though i think they passed it later

Are these cooling anything or are they just channeled inside the fat tunnels all the way to the rear?

I think the same. As Vanja points out the air here will not be good. Rb are bringing new ideas this late in regulation set - nice

Weird placement definitely, I wonder how much air actually goes in and at what speed. I mean, there is literally a kick in front on headrest.

Having a low pressure tunnel near that kick could help turn the air coming from it in a less disruptive direction.

Could it be an intake for a fluid switch?? Like McLaren had for their F-duct???

Could have something to do with the outlet down by the rear wishbone??

It would be a passive system, like Lotus had, not saying its connected to the rear wing, but could change flow in another place, could work in conjunction with the S-duct

I don't think the vertical inlet is an S-duct, seems like just another cooling inlet, 2 uber small inlets instead of a single bigger one.
Switch to overbite confirmed, interesting when pretty much everyone copied your previous underbite design.

And the strange cockpit inlets matched with their fat tubes/gulley.

To me it looks like theres an exit of some sort right above the red circle in front of the rear wishbone on the launch car

But an S duct doesn't really need a dedicated exit, it could also exit within the bodywork so the flow goes out the canon outlets at the rear of the engine cover
