Last year RB was the clear best car in testing. Especially in race trim. It was evident from a mile.

I haven't seen anything that suggest RB are the big bad boogeyman to be honest. If Verstappen wasn't on fuel fuel loads, then his race sims are slower than Leclerc.

My hunch is, they did slightly different race sim. First stint fuel on C3, second stint fuel on C1 and once again second stint fuel on C2. To study if C2 is an option for a race strategy. Clearly, that tyre is slower than C1.

I think they did all 3 stints on the same fuel load. Mid to high - we'll never know.

Engines are all turned up now. Most teams hitting 300kph on long runs. RB outlier at 290kph or so

Had quick check, last year first 5-7 laps he was at around 296-301 kmh.
