Yeah, no... G flap that close to the DRS hinge will only increase the pressure locally, which is what you want to do. This actually helps to contain the detached flow, by not allowing it to spread out.

The cutout is there to reduce drag with DRS off and it will also (likely) introduces two vortices, like a typical V-notch would do. Again, G flap on the edge there would enhance the pressure gradient needed for vortices to form.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

This rear wings are funny things. Last year red bull run rounded flap ends, this year sharp like a knife. Mercedes last year a small radius endplate/wing transition, this year very big radius.

So in addition to the notch, there is also a dip in that area of the RW? Interesting, wonder what that's for

Deisgn as old as time. Teams had versions of wavy wing flaps i think back to 2010? Or even early 2000's.

That's a huge blunder if by deciding wrongly to close cooling slots to gain .025s and lost .4. Either the love muscle is full of --- or somebody seriously cocked up the cooling calcs.

Thats a pedantic response :D
Clearly meaning the whole off the DRS mechanism and attachments. Whilst the components of the mechanism are similar/the same its clear that the rest of it is different. The swan neck mounting is different as is the pivoting section attached to the wing and actuator
