I would love to know how many times George has clashed with barriers and fences in 6 years of his F1 career.
Russell crashes consist of Imola behind the SC in the Williams, Canada in the Merc, Australia with Alonso, Silverstone with Zhou, Max in Vegas, Sainz in Austin first lap, Lewis in Qatar, Bottas in Imola, and the poor Singapore last lap crash into the barrier. That’s off the top of my head 👍
Do you want me to count Lewis' or Max's first 6 years?

Lewis in Qatar is correct. He himself admitted after the race it was his fault. :D

Why keep discussing this, race after race after race? George is extremely good in qualifying and deserves all credit, and Lewis is slightly quicker/better than George in 95 % of the races. It has been like that since 2022 and will continue to be for the remainder of 2024. Move on.

Yes. They will bring upgrades to every race in the foreseeable future. Remember what Allison said: their goal is to bring upgrades at a pace the others cannot keep up with. They will also benefit from more wind tunnel time.

Your 95% math may just suit for Verstappen-Perez, but better think that again; even against Bottas, Lewis wasn't 95% better. Let's just stop looking at the points from the '22 and '24 seasons. It wouldn't be surprising if Lewis leaves Ferrari with a 1-2 loss under his belt.

Quick maths: HAM overtook RUS on lap 52 & was 11secs behind VER after the pass. That’s 2 tenths/lap deficit in race conditions.

That has to drop considerably to be a credible threat.

The relevant gap is actually Hamilton vs Norris, not Hamilton vs Verstappen in that final stint. Everyone is chasing Mclaren.

On lap 52 the gap between them was 6.5. At the end it was 15.5. 9 seconds in 14 laps is around 6 tenths a lap slower. Tire offset was only 3 laps in favor of Norris.

NOR didn’t win the race, nor was his race strategy a direct comp as he extended. Also, lap 52 was the last time HAM would’ve really pushed; receiving instructions to manage sometime thereafter - no real point incl anything beyond. No SC/rain gimmick to corrupt data; no pit stop calamities between the two either - good race to directly comp vs the winner, approx 0.2s loss/lap
Team ANTI-HYPE. Prove it, then I’ll anoint you.

Also, Hamilton gave up pushing the last 10-12 laps, he definitely wanted to do the fastest lap at the end, but Bono said definitely not, although Lewis said that he could well have put him at the end

Russell prioritises track position and leans too much on the tyres right at start and after pit stops. He needs to find a balance somehow.
They were on different strategies and his pit crew failed. It wasn't on Russell

Yeah his problem isn't race pace, it's race intelligence.
In Monaco , George Russell did one of the best long tire runs by anyone this season.

And in this race , he went from 4th to 1st in the first corner , in the most aggressive and we'll timed lead passes this season.

Teammates are judged in head to head qualifying because it takes away all of the variables of a grand prix. Strategies , pit stop , safety car timing ect.

Hamilton is far from 95% better than George in all of the races. And certainly not in 2022.

Hamilton had 35 incidents/crashes in his first 5 years of F1.

Yea I read him saying that too.
Does the cost cap not apply to Mercedes anymore?

He was told not to push. So not representative at all.
