Agreed. It is an embarrassing fumble at this point of reg development. But one has to be hopeful, they've figured it out before, hopefully they can recover that characteristic again.
They didn't figure out how to run low tunnel roof and not porpoise, they simply raised the tunnels with the Barcelona 2023 upgrade and bouncing was gone (while also losing performance on paper).
Now that they lowered them again with the Barcelona upgrade, bouncing is also back.
I think Vanya will correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I gathered by reading his posts, lowering the tunnel roof is one of the easiest ways of gaining DF under this ruleset, while also being of the riskiest as you need to be very careful not to introduce porpoising.
