It seems upgrades have added more rear downforce making it understeer more for Max.
No wonder he’s pissed.

I mean, more rear downforce is good from a degradation point of view and it might be like RB18 which was more balanced with fuel on the car than without it. Also explains why Perez was quick before crashing himself to oblivion

Max was online simracing with his Team Redline till 3.30 AM this night!
He arrived at 11 AM at the circuit.
I think this is just stupid for a top tier athlete, it WILL impact his performance. He is abusing it now, the team should let him know this is not permissible in race weekends.
I think we should let his performance do the talking, not everyone's biorhythm is the same.
No top athlete will perform at his best going to bed at like 5 am. None. It's just absurd. Because remember, the race ends at 3.30, yet by that time his nervous system is fully engaged, he is filled with adrenalin, the bright lights from the monitor have blocked all the melatonin from being secreted. He will take AT least one hour (probably more) to wind down and get good sleep.

This is not the first time he is doing that and his performance hasn't been (visibly) affected by this.
It is enough to start worrying about it, when there is an actual problem.

Reminds me of the days when people used to say that Hamilton shouldn't go to parties, etc., like he used to when he was younger.

There is a reason why football clubs, for example, have strict internal rules about being not out at night, etc. And it's not just because of alcohol, this goes way before any hamilton, it's absolutely a performance differentiation for any top athlete. In fact it is so for any human being, just you notice a lot more on top tier sports.

Two of the best F1 drivers in history do their own thing and are extremely successful. Not everyone is the same.

Maybe the team should begin to accept the Rb20 is not a leading car. It's not uber fast, tricky to find the setup and it's not balanced. Even Max can't manage the balance
