Leclerc didn't have the pace near the end, Russell wasn't a sitting duck and Leclerc had pushed hard to get there. But still, what a drive from both Leclerc and Sainz. 4 positions for Leclerc and 3 for Sainz. Even though Q3 was frustrating, we really need to commend both the team and the drivers for today.

I have a feeling Leclerc won't be happy, he really wanted to get past Russell, but this could've been much worse given where they started.

We would have to acknowledge that they also had a very good race car to drive today...

What a boring race...

I predicted we would finish in P6 at most under normal racing conditions. Leclerc finished in P5, with the luck that Mercedes screwed up Hamilton's strategy.

If it weren't for the disaster in qualifying, Leclerc would have finished on the podium. A very good recovery drive for him anyway.

In the race on tactics engineers perfectly minimized losses, but what happened in the quale, why could not warm up the tires, how so? The pace was to give Lando a fight, but from the ninth place it is not realistic.

Based on what we’ve seen this season that might end up being the worst track for them since track temperatures can be in the low teens.

In Las Vegas Mercedes could be the fastest. I think.

P2 could definitely have been possible. Charles showed some really good pace on the hards, his race was completely compromised on the mediums because of Alonso and Hulk.

Exactly as i predicted. Leclerc delivered a better performance than i expected to be honest. Thought P5 would have been impossible from P9.

To overtake the required delta was pretty much 2s. Even 1s was not enough.

Palmer is right, but Ferrari sabotaged themselves in qualifying.
