Why didn't Lando got a penalty for the 4th and 5th tracklimit? Three are allowed.
They allowed the 5th because he (had to) overake outside the track  but how about the 4th??

No. 39 wasn't track limits violation. They deleted this lap, because he breached the track limits on the last turn of the previous lap.

Well, round 38 was the fourth time but NO penalty at all! How come?

Case number 36 is T12 at Lap 52 with Max which was a deleted lap by default, but it wasn't considered his fault due to the incident so it didn't count as a strike
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

The 3rd in this list was when he overtook outside the track. So they probably didn't count it as track limit seperately. The 4th and the 5th are the same.. So number 1, 2 and 4 are counted and that is when he got the black and white flag. After that there was no track limit violation.

I know you are a Max fan (as am I), but is was 3, not 4 or 5.

Why wouldn’t overtaking outside of the track count for track limits. I mean….

It's in the decision document. They mentioned that the track limit was discounted as he was forced wide (the same reason why the penalty was reduced from 10 to 5s)

I am neither a Max fan nor a Lando fan. I think Max is an incredible talent and (one of) the best driver(s) of all time,
but Lando is also a very good driver, but lacks the necessary experience and will never be as good as Max.
Doesn't matter to me who wins. So far Max is driving a lot better, even in a worse car.

Initially Red Bull wanted to introduce a bigger aero upgrade package in Austin, but because it was only one FP1 session, I think they postponed the big upgrade. If they can bring that to Mexico and further improve their car, I think Verstappen will win.

....

@Wazari a few years ago and he explaned why it wasn't there anymore.
BTW, @Wazari wasn't on the forum since last April. :( I hope everything is ok with him. 🙏
As I understand it, he left because people were questioning him over things that, frankly, we're not even remotely in doubt. He had proven himself to be a reliable source multiple times, but a small number of posters wanted to try and prove that they knew better every single time he posted.

The persistence by Sky that Lando is actually a title rival hasn't played out in reality. The gap in points increased after Miami. Lando has had the car to close up for 14 rounds now. Max is easily champion even just by bringing it home in the top 5.

The points per race needed to overhaul him is going to jump significantly now after every round that Lando doesn't meet the minimum, which currently is win every race with Max no higher than 4th.
It's not just Sky, many outlets have, because they have to try and generate excitement and interest to get people engaged on their platform.

I strongly suspect in the next couple of races they'll suddenly turn their attention to McLaren vs Ferrari for the WDC since Red Bull seem to have thrown the towel in on that one.

I doubt it.. they brought the new floor/diffuser and modified sidepods so idk what you think could be the big part of the update they've postponed?

I agree it is likely we have seen the last update of the season in Austin. As Marko said, a new front wing requires another floor update. I think they wanted to confirm the direction they have moved in since Baku was fully fixing the balance disconnect on a more traditional circuit and not also complicate things with an flexiwing.

I made a post some days ago, to me the wing seems to flex a lot more now, and it would make sense because of new floor.
