I think Aston Martin will improve when Alonso leaves the team. It wouldn't be the first time. I have nothing against Alonso, but it's a kind of curse that he brings with him.

wow they were the slowest car for real. Alonso caught up to Yuki and almost passed must of been pushed wide because Stoll somehow ended up in front of Alonso until Alonso passed him back a few laps later.

I guess they go back to the setup they had in FP1? Alonso said they tried a setup change for sprint Qualy that didn't work. Since they started from pit lane, they could have changed anything they wanted.

Krack alrady said that it will be a painful week-end in the most corporate way possible saying that they will not score points. So I do believe that also Alonso is buying time saying that they are doing changes but they know already.

Did you say the same when they were getting podiums? There is not such a thing as curses or luck, they have done a bad job, that's all.

I wouldn't be surprise if they collect data from different floors and parts for the new windtunnel to find where they went wrong.

Yes it keeps lagging. It's not like we are missing anything important these days... Not watching anything in depth until the car improves

Also Krack said that the old asphalt suits more their car and the new one seems to penalise the AMR24.

Do you know why ? In theory the new asphalt should offer more grip

The new asphalt is more bumpy than the old surface. The suspension on this car is non-existent and as hard as can be. Running the car low to the ground damaged the floors on both cars in FP1, so the team had to increase the ride height. There is nothing that will save this miserable excuse of a car except maybe rain.
