schumacher should just retire and let the formula 1 to the youngster like raikonnen and alsono and so on
hes getting just to old i think
These sort of comments never cease to amaze me.OLD?! Compared to Raikkonen and Alonso, he's older than them, yes but he is still quicker than either of them imo. He is blowing Rubens away even more than ever as the season moves into the second half of the season, and the guy has the fitness level of someone in his twenties. Just because no other drivers have been able to hack the relentless pace post thirty five years of age, doesn't mean this guy can't. Mentally and physically he is still peaking and i see no reason why he cannot race until forty five, but who knows. If he is uncompetitive he has said that he will stop, but he obviously isn't. Nigel Mansell won his championship when he was 39, and won his last race (Adelaide '94) when he was forty one... and he wasn't well known for his fitness level, quite the opposite. I hope Schuey signs up for McLaren for five years or something stupid!!! Oh how i would laugh!McLaurin wrote:schumacher should just retire and let the formula 1 to the youngster like raikonnen and alsono and so on

I may not be the world's number one Schuey fan (for reasons we could all bore ourselves with ); but there is little doubt that he is one of the best DRIVERS out there, add that to his skills at bringing a team around him and refusing to be beaten and you have a GREAT on your hands.Hudsonhawk wrote:OHHHHH right......
So your all saying that Shoie is just another driver and Ferrari are not competitive because they dont have enough funds to burn to make the car fast.....OHHHH silly me I should have thought of that.....I always thought it was shoie that made the difference
So much for the great shoie......It was all that money being pouring into the car that made shoie look like he was the worlds best driver. Looks like now he has been hung out to finish his career fighting with back markers ???? SO SAD !!
They drove only 2 full races as competition to one another, Senna died during 3 race while he was in the lead. That is not enough for any kind of judgment.Scuderia_Russ wrote:I agree with most of that but if you look at Senna's on track behaviour towards Schumacher in the years leading up to his death you could see he was under pressure when wheel to wheel with the German. They had a number of incidents with Schu ending up complaining about Senna's driving.
