No problem with Piastri’s move. It was late but not overly late, and it looked worse because of Russell’s very late lunge.

Beautiful team work from McLaren, even though it’s a bit bitter when the best driver doesn’t win. Not fun to be gifted a win either, but nice payback gesture anyway…

I recall similar incidents that were allowed recently but thanks for the exact regulation.
The incidents were NOR v HAM (Austin T1, 23), HAM v VER (Austin after back straight, 22)

Great pace from George, not much he can do when McLaren cooperate like that. Piastri closed the door too much on the first move and made contact. George probably should have tried the outside on the second attempt.

"thank you, what you did in Brazil is apricated" goes a long way amongst what is in reality workmates. I'm sure both drivers got a lift from it

At least the Hungaroring has extreme elevation changes, runs through woodland and has stands rammed with fans. The weather occasionally spices things up also.

There's no dissonance, the drivers (who are the experts here) agreed that the driver on the inside has the right to the corner. In this case that was George.
