clear double yellows, penalty is severe but probably because he used drs as well

There have been stop go penalties served this season I’m fairly sure.

I agree it was way too harsh here though.

A shame it's a type of penalty that you can't really appeal against. The time has been served.

Looks to me like the board didn't light up yellow until he was passing it, and then immediately a green after.

OK. That is a double waved yellow on a straight with a big flag board just behind it that either is green throughout or turns green almost immediately. To get a 10s stop and go for what could be a genuine mistake (if he was changing anything on his dash he would miss that singular flag waver) is completely unfair.

They could have gone +5s or +10s and it would have been a harsh penalty as well but it could be understood. We'll see much more problems with this type of harsh stewarding if it continues. Verstappen will be black flagged if he fights like he did this year.

If there is an instruction to be harsher with the penalties, it should be announced and not learnt after they are dished out.

Yellow, no yellow, double yellow, pale yellow, dark yellow, light yellow....we are talking for nothing. Could have been pink, double pink or lgbt flag, the result would have been the same. The stewards mission was today to take the WCC fight to the last race. In order that LibertyMedia and FIA to may count millions and millions of usd. And they delivered.
I only hope that there is a Motorsport God and the payback will come in a week time.
I am totally disgusted of what I saw today. I never thought that they may be so dirty. As HAM said "cash is king".$$$
